Welcome to our rescue site!!!

Just as this web page is under construction, so is our aviary.  We are currently building the bird room (which I am sure will eventually take over my whole house!!!), checking on state license, and trying to figure out how to build this page.  

Our hopes, when it is all complete, are to start accepting parrots that need to be re-homed or rehabilitated, for whatever reason.  We plan on working with them and finding suitable homes for those that we can.  Some, however, we realize will have been abused, and our aviary will become their forever home - so they can learn to trust again.  And those that remain in the rescue will be used for educational purposes.

Once this takes off, and we are able to start taking applications for adoption, the applicants will have to complete an educational process and show proof that they have sufficient housing for their new feathered friend.  For now, we do not plan on becoming a non-profit organization - but, if the need arises due to expansion, this will always be an option.
